1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the PetroNauka platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy and all applicable laws and regulations of the Republic of Angola. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained on this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark legislation.
2. Platform Use
PetroNauka grants you a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to access and use the platform for personal and non-commercial professional purposes. The following are expressly prohibited: (i) reproducing, duplicating, copying, selling or exploiting any part of the platform without prior written authorisation; (ii) using the platform for illegal or unauthorised purposes; (iii) transmitting any content that is illegal, offensive, defamatory or that violates the rights of third parties; (iv) attempting to gain unauthorised access to any computer systems or networks connected to the platform.
3. Intellectual Property
All content published on PetroNauka — including but not limited to articles, technical reports, presentations, databases and graphic elements — is protected by the copyright of the respective authors and/or PetroNauka, Lda. Users who publish content on the platform grant PetroNauka a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display, distribute and promote that content within the scope of the platform. Authors retain all other rights over their works.
4. Privacy
The collection and processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms of Use. By using the platform, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with that policy. PetroNauka undertakes not to sell or share your personal data with third parties without your express consent, except where required by law.
5. Limitation of Liability
PetroNauka, its directors, employees, partners and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the platform, including without limitation loss of data, lost profits or business interruption. The platform is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
6. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Angola, without prejudice to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or related to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the city of Luanda, Angola. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
