Resumo
Angola faces a dual imperative: maximising remaining hydrocarbon revenue while building the renewable energy infrastructure required for long-term economic resilience. This paper models three transition scenarios to 2050, assessing their economic, social, and environmental trade-offs within Angola's specific political and institutional context. We argue that a managed transition leveraging existing oil revenues is both feasible and necessary.
