Occupational Health in Angolan Oil Fields: Prevalence of Chronic Conditions Among Field Workers

Resumo

A cross-sectional study of occupational health outcomes among 1,847 oil field workers across six major Angolan onshore and offshore operations. This paper documents the prevalence of work-related musculoskeletal disorders, respiratory conditions, and mental health challenges, and evaluates the effectiveness of existing occupational health programmes. Recommendations for evidence-based HSE programme design are provided.
